About Me

bishal gurung: I am a registered Medical Doctor of Nepal with over 10 years of experience in the field of medicine. I started my work at the Kapan Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Samata Hospital and Shankarapur Hospital in Kathmandu. There, I learned the importance of being compassionate to patients. In pursuit of assisting people who are in dire need of healthcare service in limited resources, I joined the team at the Dhulikhel Hospital and the outreach programs at Phalebas, Tanahu, Syangja, Panchkhal, Thangsing, and Hindi. In addition to this, I also gained managerial experience while working at Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal, supporting programs that focused on the provision of quality healthcare for communities. Today, I am a resident in Community Medicine and Tropical Diseases at BPKIHS, ready to serve with an open heart by community service, supporting fellow peers in research and learning.
